Hey guy! This page is no masterpiece, but y’know what? It’s a page! xD I apologize that it’s been forever, thank you all for reading. I can’t tell how much it encourages me to continue, even when I have a lot of other things on my plate.
For those of you who don’t know, I’m set to graduate from grad school in December, so the craziness of school+work (with a little graduate student version of senioritus sprinkled in there too) has been a lot of why I haven’t been posting pages. I’ve been feeling swamped and any spare time I get, I just want to relax. I’m trying to do better with all of it.
Okay, now let’s talk the future. First, I’m going to try changing my posting schedule to Saturday. That’ll give me Friday afternoons after work and also Saturday morning to get pages done. We’ll see how it goes. Second, over the summer, I’m taking a couple of classes, doing an internship, working (my regular job), and I feel like there’s something else, but I can’t remember what it is 😭 THEREFORE, my goal is to build up a proper buffer so that I can still poster throughout the summer but won’t be having to draw so many pages. Please pray that I actually accomplish this lol.
Speaking of future, I’ve been trying to also work to build my artistic career. So, I now have a Patreon! (Yes, sneak previews of Jade Torch pages will be posted there, and also spoilers for upper tier patrons.) And I’ve been taking commissions! Follow me on Instagram to keep up to date on when they’re open. Also, new stickers and original arts have been added to my Etsy shop! Part of prep for post-graduation has been trying to build these freelance elements of my artistic career.
